THE CHALLENGE
Reliable numbers were hard to come by
Rent-All's business had grown significantly over the years, but its reporting infrastructure hadn't kept pace. Financial stakeholders were working with inconsistent data, reports were difficult to automate, and the existing data platform was struggling under the increasing data volumes.
The result: strategic decisions about assets, investments and returns were being made without a reliable, unified view of the numbers. The CFO needed clarity. The data wasn't providing it.
WHAT WE DID
Start with the decisions, not the technology
We started where it matters most: the business outcomes. Together with Rent-All's finance and operations team, we mapped out exactly which decisions needed better data, and what reliable reporting should look like in practice.
From there, we designed and built a data platform that could handle the volume, integrated seamlessly with their existing infrastructure, and required minimal maintenance. Dashboards and reports were built and validated iteratively, in close collaboration with the teams that rely on them every day.
